What Twilight scrapbook would be complete without a page dedicated to Forks? I may expand the Forks coverage to more pages - the photos are just so beautiful. This is a digital layout created in PSE 5.0. The photos are from Stephenie Meyer's website and a few Forks websites (links to them from Stephenie Meyer's website).

Twilight Scrapbook: The Meadow
Another paper layout for my Twilight scrapbook. I know it's hard to tell in the photo but the background paper is DCWV metallic paper (textured) and the title letters have glitter glued on them. The letters were cut with my brand new Cricut Expression (woo hoo!). The flower border is a digital element I had that I printed and then cut out. Honestly for all the time I spent on printing, cutting, and glittering, I should have just done this page digitally and added the photo after the fact! The photo is from the Borders Exclusive DVD pack. The layout design is from a sketch I found here: http://artgirlzscrappinattic.typepad.com/photos/sketches/12x12_page_for_5x7_photo.html
In the end though, I think this is one of my favorite layouts I've ever done (color/design wise I mean) so all the time it took was worth it.

Twilight Scrapbook: Bella & Edward
Another page for my Twilight Scrapbook, another non-digital page. Pictures are from the Borders DVD set. Sorry about the weird color on Bella's photo: these pictures are slightly ... glittery? ... and reflect the light in weird ways. Their basic information is taken from Twilight Lexicon.

Twilight Scrapbook: The Cullens
Another page for my Twilight Scrapbook - my first non-digital one, although the text is all typed. I printed the picture of Carlisle and Esme from a website (http://www.twilightersanonymous.com). The picture of Edward's siblings came from my Border's Exclusive DVD set - sorry about the glare. The text is basic facts about each character, taken from the Twilight Lexicon.

Twilight Scrapbook: Misc Section Page
Another section page for my Twilight scrapbook. Stacy Julian would be so proud of me. :-) This is a miscellaneous section page for all the layouts that don't pertain to one particular book of the series. I copied the image of all four covers from some fan art I saw online.
Twilight Scrapbook: Blood Typing, again
Another page dedicated to the Blood Typing scene, except this time from Midnight Sun. I used the same photo as the first Blood Typing layout, with the background paper from the Edward kit from http://ellielash.com. A very simple layout, primarily text. Edward's point of view tends to be more verbose than Bella's. :-)

Twilight Scrapbook: Blood Typing
Another page for my Twilight Scrapbook. This is a digital layout created in PSE 5.0. Background paper is from Pimp Your Scrapbook's free Twilight papers. The photo is from the Entertainment Weekly photo shoot with the Twilight cast. The parchment paper is from the free Twilight Moon kit available here: http://nwatankersleys.blogspot.com/2008/09/twilight-moon-releasedgrab-it-now.html. I edited to make it look torn and aged using this tutorial: http://www.myjanee.com/tuts/torn/torn.htm#oldpstip
The fonts are: Blood Gutter from http://www.1001freefonts.com/horror-fonts.php and Edward's handwriting font from http://bellaandedward.com/funfonts.php.

Twilight Scrapbook: Title Page
This is the title page for my Twilight scrapbook. It is a digital layout created in Photoshop Elements 5.0. I completely scrap-lifted it from http://www.pimpyourscrapbook.com/2009/03/saga-winner.html. The only reason it isn't an exact copy is because I don't have all the exact elements in the original layout.

Twilight Scrapbook: Section Pages
I've already created one Twilight layout, and have plans for several more in my head. Yesterday my son told me that for Mother's Day he's going to take pictures of all my Twilight stuff and put it in a scrapbook for me. And I realized he had a great idea - a Twilight scrapbook!
I started today with some section pages - one for each book. These are digital layouts, created in Photoshop Elements 5.0. The background paper is a freebie I downloaded from Pimp Your Scrapbook. The book cover images will not be printed on the final layout - I have 8"x5" prints that came with my book set that I will be attaching to the layout. They prints are just the image on a plain black background - no words.
The exception is Midnight Sun. Because it is unpublished there is no official artwork so I found some fan art online. The picture will be printed on the layout, just as shown below.

Twilight Novel Novice: Challenge Winner!
It's been a long time since I've written anything creative, but a Twilight website called Twilight Novel Novice runs challenges every other month and I decided to enter. The challenge was to write a scene from the book New Moon as a screenplay for the movie. I really enjoyed this project, so much so that I couldn't stop at just one scene - I did four!
I wanted to stay as close to the book as possible, but also keep continuity with the first movie. I was pleasantly surprised when I visited the website this afternoon and discovered not only was I one of the winners, but all four of my scenes were listed! You can click on the banner below to read my entries as well as the other entries. (Mine is "4 Scenes by Christie")
This was really fun for me. I would like to enter the next challenge but I'm still coming up with my idea.

Quilt in Progress: Nature's Bounty
This is one of Joann's Block of the Month Quilts, called Nature's Bounty. There are two more appliqued blocks to be added, plus borders.
I have used a quilt-as-you-go method based on Harriet Hargrave's Heirloom Machine Quilting. Everything in the picture has already been quilted. The two appliqued blocks to be added have already been quilted too. Once those blocks and the borders are added I will just have to quilt the borders and then bind the quilt.
